Direçli ağrılar için epidural steroid enjeksiyonları Darthmouth Hitckock Medical Center standartları ile başarı ile uygulanmaktadır. Bel fıtığı ameliyatları klasik mikrodiskektomi yanında, yeni bir teknoloji olan Metryx sistem ile yapılmakta ve hastalar aynı gün evlerine gidebilmektedir.

Omurgada osteoporotik veya metastatik çökme kırıkları sonrası ortaya çıkan ağrılar, vertebroplasti-kifoplasti denilen perkütan(ciltten) lokal anestezi ile yapılan işlem ile 30 dk.da giderilebilmektedir. Tedaviye dirençli ağrı olgularında omurilik üstüne uygun mesafelere yerleştirilen ağrı stimülatörleri ile yaşam standartlarının artırılması hedeflenmektedir.

Parkinson, distoni gibi hareket bozukluklarının tedavisinde yıllardır başarı ile tüm dünyada kullanılan derin beyin stimülasyonu, Avrupa’da başta şizofreni, obsesif kompulsif bozukluk ve unipolar depresyon olmak üzere psikiyatri hastalarında başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
